Our room was far too small for two people. Managing our luggage was difficult with nearly no space to move. The shower leaked onto the floor, and there was no place for personal items. I had to mark the bathroom threshold to prevent my husband from tripping in the night. It turned out to be an uncomfortable experience for us overall.

The place had a quiet atmosphere. The hotel's location was convenient, adjacent to the harbor, castle, and restaurants/shops as well as including the bus to-and-from the airport.

Strongly recommend for a break on long journey
Comfortable room, excellent breakfast, with a fantastic buffet with a wide selection of breads and freshly made omelettes, made every morning special.
Nothing, all great without adding further information.

The hotel has a very good location, the breakfast is great, there is everything you can imagine. There are also some small delicacies in the afternoon and in the evening a small buffet, that of course is quite good in the budget. You don't have to go out to dinner every night. . Points are actually only deducted for the very small room and the few storage areas for clothes
The room size, really very small. The oversized TV.

The breakfast buffet was great, dinner was great, always freshly prepared and something for every taste. Staff was great, beds were very good and the location, a minute away from Bryggen and yet not directly in the hustle and bustle, simply fantastic. Highly recommended

The breakfast selection was very nice, especially the freshly pressed orange juice! The staff was super attentive and were great. Plus, the complimentary dinner was a delight, especially after a long trip with two young kids.
In my wife's opinion, check-in could have been faster, especially after a long day of travel.

So-called small rooms can really cramp your style when juggling luggage!!! Lack of air conditioning in summer means sleepless nights!!! Plus, you might want to rethink your bathroom configurations if you don't want guests stumbling in the dark!!!

Stylish hotel, spotless, marvellous breakfast, wonderful location in the city center. Incredibly beautiful views over the entire bay from new-fashioned rooms, extremely polite employees. Location not far from the main points of interest like Bryggen and the funicular which offers fantastic views over the entire bay.
Wi-Fi was very poor.

great stay but missing some amenities
The breakfast offered a great variety of fresh options that impressed me. I appreciated the cozy lounge area that was perfect. The room I stayed in had a magnificent city view that added to my experience.
The lack of basic toiletries in the bathroom was disappointing.

Bergen was extremely great, one reason was the hotel. The breakfast buffet was bombastic - we have never seen such a buffet before. The staff was friendly and courteous. In addition to breakfast, the room price included a light dinner (salad buffet + one main course + dessert). That was great. Everything worked out perfectly. Our room was not very big but for a city trip completely sufficient.
